Our mission is to provide quality midwifery care options within the maternity and perinatal care desert located in the rural areas of Southeastern Virginia.
Welcome!
Meagan Flaherty will be a licensed Certified Professional Midwife offering comprehensive midwifery care services to Isle of Wight County and the surrounding areas in Southeastern Virginia. Meagan started her journey as a birth professional by becoming a certified Birth Doula through DONA in 2018. Meagan also cross-certified through the Madriella Doula Network as a Birth and Postpartum Doula and as a Madriella Doula Network Childbirth Educator. She is currently enrolled in the Midwives College of Utah Bachelors of Science in Midwifery degree program and is anticipated to graduate in the late summer of 2024.
As a future midwife, Meagan believes in supporting low-risk pregnant individuals and their families in their wishes to deliver in the safety and comfort of their own homes.

I will no longer be offering doula services for new clients starting November, 2020.
I will still be offering repeat clients doula support on a limited basis . This is a bittersweet announcement as it marks the end of this chapter in my life, however it is so that I can focus on midwifery school.
